1. How to Initiate a Return?
All returns must be authorized in advance. Please obtain a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number in one of the following ways:

Once your request is approved, you will receive an RGA number, return instructions, and, in most cases, a prepaid shipping label**.
**The cost of the prepaid label may be deducted from your refund for returns not due to company error (see section 4).
2. Return Eligibility Conditions:
To be eligible for a return, please ensure that:
- The item is in the same condition you received it: new, unused, and free of installation marks or modifications.
- All original tags and labels are attached (if applicable).
- The item is in its original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging.
- You have proof of purchase (order number, date).
3. Returns Due to Company Error or Defective Merchandise:
If you received the wrong item, a product with a manufacturing defect, or an item damaged during the original shipment:
- We will issue a full refund for the item price, taxes, and any original shipping charges you paid.
- We will provide you with a free prepaid shipping label for the return.
- No restocking fees will apply.
Please include clear photographs demonstrating the error or defect with your return request.
4. Customer Preference Returns (e.g., changed mind, ordered wrong part):
If the item doesn't suit your needs for reasons not due to an error on our part:

Return Shipping Costs:
- You may ship the item back yourself to the address listed below.
- Alternatively, we can provide a prepaid shipping label for your convenience; its cost will be deducted from your refund amount.
- Original Shipping Charges: Original shipping charges paid by you are non-refundable. If your original order included free shipping, the actual outbound shipping cost incurred by Parts Finder Q may be deducted from your refund.
- Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of up to 20% of the item's price may apply. This fee helps cover processing, inspection, and restocking expenses. The exact fee will be communicated upon return authorization. We strive to minimize this fee or waive it for items returned in perfect condition with undamaged original packaging.
Important Note on Cancellations:
Orders cancelled before they have shipped are eligible for a full refund with a $0 cancellation fee.
For orders cancelled after they have shipped, the terms for "Customer Preference Returns" will apply, including potential restocking fees and shipping cost responsibilities.
5. Required Documentation and Photographs:
For all returns, please provide:
- Order information (order number, purchase date).
- Your contact details.
- A detailed reason for the return.
- In case of defect, damage, or our error: Clear photographs showing the issue (item from all relevant angles, the defect/damage, packaging condition, serial numbers, if applicable).
- For customer preference returns, photographs are not typically required if the item meets the return conditions but may be requested in specific cases.
6. Packaging Requirements for Returned Items:
You are responsible for properly packaging returned items to prevent damage during transit:
- Use original packaging materials whenever possible.
- Ensure adequate protection against damage.
- Secure all loose parts and components.
- Items damaged due to insufficient return packaging may not be eligible for a full refund, or the refund amount may be reduced.
7. Return Processing and Refund Timelines:
- Standard Processing: We aim to process returns and initiate refunds within 3-5 business days of receiving the returned item and completing its inspection.
- Technical Inspection: For items requiring more detailed technical inspection, this timeframe may be extended up to 10 business days.
- Peak Periods/Holidays: Processing times may be slightly extended; we will notify you if this is the case.
Once your return is processed, we will notify you via email. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal account). Please note that it may take an additional 2-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
8. Non-Returnable Items:
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Custom-made or special-order items.
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases (unless there was an error on our part).
- Items that have been installed, used, or modified.
- Sale items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable."
- Gift cards.

All sales are considered final 30 days after receipt of the item.

- All return shipping costs (including any applicable customs duties and taxes) are the responsibility of the customer.
